How do I apply for broadband?Applying for broadband through firsthelpline.com is quick and easy. You can be sure that you’ve picked the right deal for you from all the different offers in the market. Using the broadband comparison service, if you find a deal you like, and want to proceed, it’s all done online in minutes – no need to fill out any paper forms or sign any contracts. We’ll forward you on to your chosen provider’s website to complete an application. To start the registration process, your chosen supplier will perform a broadband line test with your telephone number to confirm you can receive broadband at your property. A billing account will be set up for you, and your broadband service should be activated in around 10 working days. Once your supplier has confirmed that your line can support broadband, they’ll send you a welcome pack, so that you can set up your connection and begin using their service. Your welcome pack should include a setup CD and instructions, and, if requested, a broadband modem and micro filters. If you have any problems setting up your service, the welcome pack should also have a technical support number to call. |
