At firsthelpline.com, we offer you a completely free and independent service to compare gas and electricity, home phone, broadband and heating insurance prices, so that you can choose the right supplier and package for you.

If you choose to switch or apply for a product through us, we receive a small commission from your chosen supplier for finding them a new customer. This is how we keep the service free for our customers.

You can see straight away if we have a commercial relationship with a supplier or not. Those we don’t have a relationship with appear with ‘enquire’ next to them. Because we show you supplier deals based on price, our commercial relationships do not impact the order or presentation of information on the results tables for any of our services.

Obviously, you’re free to go straight to the providers’ website and apply from there, in which case firsthelpline.com will earn nothing. But we do think it’s not in your interest to do so, as some of the deals we show are exclusive to us. Also, by applying through us, our Customer Services team are on hand to help you with any queries or problems you might have with your application.
